The city subway system might be one of the locations that most citizens would spend time on.
However, especially in many busy stations of a metropolitan area, the train could be so crowded that passengers on the platforms could hardly shove into the train cars, thus they would have to wait for a couple of trains to get on.
On the other hand, the separated cars of a train are probably not loaded averagely.

Everybody procrastinates.
Imagine the timers available at present, basically on an interface behind a screen, would hardly remind people the gradually elapsing of life time. Instead, they are mostly a group of boring numbers changing without any emotion.
Then suddenly the deadline is here -- the bell rings. It seems like the passing time is defined only by the final alarm.
This project is going to make a timer that is interesting with a bit of humor, revealing the real happening things in our daily life around us those take a specific period of time. And most importantly, being able to let people feel the elapsing process of time.

As the industrialization and urbanization process in some developing regions pushes on, the air pollution has become a serious problem in many mega cities. More importantly, such pollutants especially the particulate matters have a huge impact on the health condition of the urban habitants.
This project is going to come up with ways of informing people the real time air quality in surrounding area. In this way, citizens could be able to know the air they are breathing at that moment and arrange their outdoor activities according to the air quality.

In the library
It has common sense that visitors are suppose to keep their volume down at public libraries, especially not to speak loudly. Nevertheless, I fount it not exactly well implemented in some cases.
The existing signs and warnings are not obvious, which would easily be ignored by voice makers, like those images above.
With the purpose of providing a quiet environment for most readers of libraries, this project aims to develop an effective and polite way of accurate warning to those noisy individuals without disturbing others.
